The secondary celebrated Independence Day on 14th August 2018 with great fervor and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with a prayer-service by class 9C. We had inter-house dance competition on the theme “Save Environment’. Which was beautifully portrayed by the participants of the four houses. Through their amazing dance performance the girls presented the condition of our environment and the need to protect it. Melodious patriotic songs were sung by the classes 6 and 7 for the inter-house patriotic song competition. The inspiring speech by our manger Sr. Savio CJ filled us with nationalism coated with pride. This was followed by – drawing completion and JPIC Slogan writing.
The Primary had their colourful celebration on 13th August 2018, classes UKG to 2 presented fancy dress competition. The tiny-tots in their wonderful attires and make-up performed extremely well. The not worthy performances were Mother Earth, Tree, Solar Power and The River Ganga. Classes 3, 4 and 5 had patriotic song competition. Sr. Karuna CJ our respected principal gave an inspiring speech on the occasion.
Indian social structure consists of festivals and beliefs. India is a country of rich culture. Cultural activities of the school will develop awareness and interest in the students towards own culture. By participating in the school’s cultural activities, students will develop their confidence as well as creativity.
September 5 Teacher's Day is celebrated in our school in India to commemorate the birthday of Independent India's second President, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (1888-1975), is celebrated as Teacher's Day in India since 1962.Radhakrishnan believed that teachers should be the best minds in the country.
